Sapphire Atomic Radeon HD4870 X2 2048MB Graphics Card

Packaging:
The Sapphire Atomic Radeon HD4870 X2 2048MB graphics card shipped to me straight from Hong Kong. Even though it was the only thing I was expecting at the time, I was still thrown off when it showed up because the box was so large (below left image). I have received desktop cases in smaller boxes. Inside the large carboard box was a good deal of black foam padding surrounding yet another cardboard box (shown in the the below right image).

Protecting the contents was definitely high on Sapphire's list of priorities, and they did a good job. Inside the second cardboard box was a bit of bubble wrap surrounding an aluminum carrying case with some Sapphire Atomic artwork and text.
Carrying this thing through a busy airport might not be the best idea, but it definitely looks cool. Sapphire treats it like any other box they might use to sell a card, and they simply slap a UPC label on one side to make it official.

The case opens like a brief case, or maybe a sniper's rifle case if you want to make it more exciting. Inside there is a plastic insert that frames the various compartments where you can see the video card, cooling fan with radiator, and CPU water block.
