Packaging:
The front of the box for the ASUS Xonar D1 PCI audio card provides a nice big image of the product so you know exactly what you are getting. There are also a few bits of text regarding features, specifications, and certifications on the front, while the back of the box lists a few more features in twelve different languages.
 
The below left image shows that the cover of the box flips open to offer even more information, with details regarding gaming, multimedia, and vocal performance provided. Inside the box (below right image), we see that the card itself is sealed in an anti-static bag and placed in its own cardboard compartment for protection. All of the accessories are located under this compartment, and we'll take a look at those later in the review.
