External Case Overview (continued):
Now lets shift to the sides of the Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gamer Case.
The first two pictures showcase the "window side" of the case. Please note the first picture below shows the protective plastic film covering the plastic window for shipment purposes. The second picture actually shows us how the case looks without this covering.
 
The second group of pictures show the opposing side of the case that the motherboard is ultimately fastened to.
 
This case has a special rear end that makes it unique from other cases currently available on the market - the power supply is intended to mount to the bottom of your case. Mounting the power supply to the bottom of case adds a few conveniences while potentially bringing about new problems. Being that the power supply is one of the heaviest components in the computer, shifting it to the bottom of the case lowers the case's center of gravity (and if your carrying your case to a LAN party, this is a great feature). Having the power supply at the bottom of the case is also nice because it makes routing some of the cables that typically clutter a case a bit easier to clean-up given the plastic tie-downs Antec builds into this case.
Now for the bad, this new and unconventional design makes you think twice about which way the power supply should be oriented. If you install the power supply in its conventional orientation, the intake fan will be just about blocked off along the bottom of the case. The airflow will be reduced and this could possibly lead to an early power supply failure. However if you try to remedy this situation by installing the power supply "upside down," you may be changing the convective heat transfer characteristics of the power supply. In addition this upside down orientation will put the intake fan in a very bad location. Over time the fan is bound to ingest a few expansion slot screws, which obviously wouldn't be good for your power supply.
