Packaging:
We'll briefly discuss the Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gamer Case's packaging which can be seen in the promotional image below. The sleek black box does well to protect the case, as well as showing off a good deal of information on it. Inside the box the case is protected with the typical Styrofoam blocks, as well as being wrapped in a clear plastic bag.
External Case Overview:
The majority of this case is made of metal with the exception being the rectangular black plastic trim piece around the front perimeter. This case has nine available drive bays, three of which are external 5.25" bays and the remaining six are internal 3.5" bays for hard disks. Depending upon your actual drive configurations, this case can accommodate other setups (more optical drives, more hard disks, etc). The pictures below highlight the two standard 120mm TriCool fans that blow directly over the internally mounted hard disks, ensuring the hard disks remain cool.
All useable space on the front of this tower is dedicated to drive bays, this is how Antec can fit nine drive bays in a mid-tower case. The on/off switch, reset button, audio in/out jacks, and USB ports have been relocated on this model to the top of the case, more on this later.
