Corsair produces some of the finest memory in the world; this time around they have prepared us for the future by releasing a matched set of RAM modules totaling 2GB. This is some nice stuff... The XMS TWINX2048-4000PT ran smoothly at its rated speed and managed to gain a little overclock without much effort. At the present time, it appears that there is not much to be gained from having this much RAM in a system. The rate at which game manufactures add technology to their newest releases, the time when 2GB of RAM will be considered the norm is not that far off. The Corsair XMS TWINX2048-4000PT is top-notch RAM and if you decide that you can't live with "only" 1GB of RAM in your system, this is the choice for you.
A search of PriceGrabber shows that a full 2GB of Corsair TWINX2048-4000PT will set you back somewhere around $225 and up.
