The Ultra Products X-Connect 2 comes packaged in a retail box that would grab your attention if you found it sitting on the shelf of a brick and mortar store. As with any good packaging, the box gives you plenty of information on what you will find in the box. The front and top give you a quick view of the power supply and its features.
 
The back and side panels of the box are reserved for more detailed information.
 
Opening the packaging reveals another box that contains the cables for the X2, which I will take a look at in more detail later.
Below the cable box is the actual power supply. Ultra Products used soft foam to restrain the power supply from shifting during shipment. They have also enclosed the power supply in a plastic bag which helps to keep minor scratches from marring the mirror like finish.
