| Thermaltake Toughpower 550W Power Supply

First Impression:
The Thermaltake Toughpower 550 arrived in the usual power supply container; a box that shows Thermaltake's logo on the front along with a picture of the power supply contained within. The back of the package shows some of the features, including the cabling included with the supply.
 
The sides of the package are just as descriptive, with the first side showing more of the features along with some of the amperage ratings. The opposite side of the container shows the non-Active PFC 550-Watt version is selected for this review sample.
 
The inside of the package proved to be just as interesting as the outside.
The power supply is shown neatly wrapped in bubble wrap and the other parts are contained within the black box in the lower part of the below left image. The below right image shows a close up of the box by itself, incase you were unsure of its contents.
 
Inside the bubble wrap we discover a nice looking power supply, decorated in a glossy black finish with a metallic nameplate displaying the word Toughpower.
