MP3 Playback:
Playing MP3 files was pretty much just like any other MP3 player. You simply chose the MP3 mode, scroll down your list of MP3s to where you want to start, and then press the play button to get the music started. In the setup menu for MP3 playback you can choose 5 different effects including "Flat', "Jazz", "Rock", "Pop", or "Classic".
FM Radio:
FM radio reception was about what I expected and would rate it as acceptable. You just can't expect good quality reception everywhere with a small receiver which lacks an external antenna. That being said, I was able to obtain a reasonable signal by moving the MEGA Screen slightly in most cases.. The MEGA Screen can save your favorite radio stations to preset buttons and a favorites list.
Voice Recorder:
I had very low expectations for the voice recorder considering the microphone is but a tiny hole on the side of the MEGA Screen. So I was not too surprised that the voice recording was some what limited in range and voices were not very clear. I would say it was a little better than I had expected, and I had no problem making out what was recorded. Just don't think you are going to sneak it into a concert and record the band and come out with something you are going to want to listen to later.
Line In:
This feature works just like the voice recording feature, but allows you to connect the MEGA Screen to an external audio source, such as a CD Player, via the supplied cable and record to the MEGA Screen's memory.
