The third test is an independent (real-world) test that involves writing and reading a specified amount of data to and from the Crucial Gizmo! USB Flash Drive.
Two tests were performed. As you can see in the graphs below, the Crucial Gizmo! Flash Drive transferred data (both read/write) nearly twice as fast as the Transcend JetFlash 120 previously reviewed here at Bigbruin.com. Please note our testing involved two portions: a large single file (266MB) transfer, and a second portion involving a collection of smaller files amounting to 234MB. Our real-world tests revealed the Crucial Gizmo! USB Flash Drive was writing data at ~11MB/s and reading at ~23MB/s (once again very close to Crucial's advertised transfer rates).
