Photo Functionality:
The photo selection screen looks exactly like the video and audio file explorer screen. The difference here is that you get a thumbnail of the picture you have selected prior to viewing the picture full screen.
Once you have selected a photo to be viewed full screen you press the "OK" button and the screen will display the photo at the maximum size of the screen. One of the nicest features of the photo viewer is the ability to rotate the photo. This allows you to get the optimum view of the photo. Below you can see an original photo and a rotated view of the same photo.
 
Music Functionality:
When you select "My Music" you will be presented with the same file view as "My Movies" and "My Photos". The MPM-201 lists your music by filename. As before, you can put your music into sub-folders if you'd like, but this will affect the random playback option.
Here is what you see while playing music. The picture here does not do it justice. It looks much nicer on the screen than it does here in the picture. Most of the information on the screen is taken from the ID3 tags built into MP3 files. The other features on the screen depend on whether you have a repeat mode or the shuffle option selected. Finally, you will see how the file was encoded and the quality of the encode (it is in dark letters and is fairly hard to see here). The joy-control options are skip ahead/back (up/down) and forward/reverse search (right/left).
