A Closer Look:
Starting with the 5.25" (EB505U) drive enclosure, we take a closer look and see what makes it tick. The back of the enclosure shows off the USB, power connection, and power switch. Rather generic, but it still felt sturdier than some of the enclosures I've seen in the past. The image on the right shows the internal connections.
 
Now let's take a look at the inside of the 3.5" (EB305C) enclosure. There is a bit more to see here because the 3.5" enclosure is compatible with both SATA and IDE hard drives. This is a great feature that allows versatility when selecting hard drives. The first image shows how easily the enclosure is accessed. Sliding open the top reveals all of the goodies inside.
 
From the above image you may have been wondering where to plug in the SATA drive. The next images show how easily the enclosure is converted from the IDE connector and Molex power to the SATA connector and SATA power.
