Testing (continued):
SiSoft Sandra 2005 CPU Arithmetic Benchmark:
SiSoft Sandra's suite of benchmarks offers two tests of CPU performance. The first takes a look at the Arithmetic end of things (higher is better). As we can see below, what the R410L/800-M lacks in memory performance, it makes up for in CPU performance!
SiSoft Sandra 2005 CPU Multimedia Benchmark:
ANother CPU test in the SiSoft Sandra suite, this one looks at Multimedia performance (higher is better). As with the Arithmetic test, both motherboards do well, but the ATI based board does far better!
Super Pi:
Super Pi is a simple test that has your computer calculate the value of Pi to the number of decimal places you specify (lower is better). With the value set to one million decimal places, the results below indicate how many seconds each configuration took to calculate PI, and this is the only CPU related test that the C19-A SLI actually did best at.
PC Wizard 2006 Global Performance Benchmark:
PC Wizard provides a large suite of system benchmarks, and two portions were chosen to round out the testing of the C19-A SLI's CPU and memory performance (higher is better). As you can see, the C19-A SLI continues to win at memory tests, while the R410L/800-M wins at yet another CPU test.
