The Basics:
Once you have removed the case from the packaging you can see that the case has a very plain look to it, definitely nothing wrong with this, some people like a more classic look. The front of the case is plain black, with silver plastic trim. At first glance, the only thing that stood out was the power and reset buttons.
This case has three 5.25" drive bays. The top drive bay swings down to reveal your optical drive. This will allow any optical drive to match the case. The door works perfectly, press the button, and it presses the eject button on your optical drive. When the drive opens the door will be pushed open.
In addition to the three 5.25" drive bays, there are also two 3.5" drive bays. Unfortunately, there is only one accessible 3.5" drive bay, as the second bay is taken up by the front USB/headphone ports. This is hidden beneath a door that when opened will remain open until you swing it back shut. I would prefer to have these ports in another location, rather than taking up a 3.5" slot.
Moving to the side panel, you can see that the case did sustain some minor damage to the side panel. Contacting ArrowMax, they immediately offered to send a replacement side panel. I declined as it is not a major issue for me. Perhaps a little more solid packaging material would help keep this from happening. On the side panel, there are two vents, the top is designed to be over your CPU, while the second is over the video and PCI slots. No fans are attached to either of these vents.
