Enermax Chakra ATX Case with 25cm Fan
|
Internal Inspection (continued):
Upon removing the front cover we see the bare frame of the case with filtered holes for the front fan and twist off plates for exposed devices. The actual front cover has some new features. The top two device bay slots have a plastic bar which is horizontal to the device that is activated with a push of a button from the front of the cover. The slider on the bar is to be positioned with the button on your CD-ROM's open/close button. When you push the button from the exterior of the case it will push the CD-ROM's button and make it open. The doors for the CD-ROM are spring loaded for proper opening and closing. This feature makes the CD-ROM totally invisible from the outside. The filtering material behind the front cover is easy to remove and clean once it gets filled up with dust.
The connectors for the front I/O panel at the front and top of the case include eSATA, USB, and audio. This case is the first case to feature a built in eSATA connection and hopefully other manufacturers will start making more eSATA devices and utilize its speed. There is also the wiring for the power/reset, speaker, and LEDs for the motherboard.
Parts & Manual:
Here are the included parts and manual... We have hard drive mounting rails, some assorted screws, other accessories, and standoffs for the motherboard installation. The manual is a quick reference for anyone who isn't too sure how to install components into an ATX case. The directions are clear with detailed photos to help anyone get their hardware installed.
