Antazone AS-C1000 Universal Heatpipe CPU Cooler

Conclusion:
Even with the issues with installation, I am very impressed with the design and thought that went into the Antazone AS-C1000. This cooler has proven its ability to cool and look great doing it.
The only negative I can list for the AS-C1000 is regarding the installation. Listed among its features was "Easy Installation", and I found that to be far from true. It took a good deal of coordination and effort to get everything setup properly, and you really would be wise to have someone help you (unless you have more than two hands yourself).
I would actually like to try some passive cooling with this cooler. I think there is enough cooling ability in this cooler to be able to use it in a silent HTPC setup with no fan. The only issue with this plan is that the size may limit this ability.
A search of PriceGrabber doesn't turn up any results for the Antazone AS-C1000. Looking around the rest of web doesn’t come up with any sites selling the AS-C1000 either, so pricing isn’t available. One thing I did find is another review site that claimed that Newegg.com carried it for $49.99. Newegg.com didn't actually have it listed when I looked, but perhaps they did have it at one time recently and just sold out.
If this cooler is priced correctly, I believe Antazone will have a winner on its hands. This cooler earns the rating of "Recommended" based only on performance. If pricing is in line with the many competitors in this market, then this cooler would easily gain a "Highly Recommended" rating.
Pros:
» Exceptional looks
» Well engineered
» Very good compatibility
» Performance
Cons:
» Takes more than two hands to install
