Ultra Products 2nd Generation X-Finity 600W PSU

Ultra Products jumped into the enthusiast computer scene a few years ago with a handful of computer components, but had to have received the most attention with their power supply line up. In addition to one of the first modular power supplies (the Xconnect), they had a line of stylish units with traditional cabling in the X-Finity series.

The original X-Finity did well in our testing, and the 600 Watt unit provided for review is still running strong. Ultra Products has built around the strengths of the first generation of the X-Finity with some enhancements and other features in their release of the second generation. This review will take a look at another 600W X-Finity Power Supply, and allow us to put generation two up against generation one.


Before jumping into the heart of the review, let's take a look at some of the published data on the newer version of the 600W X-Finity...
