NF-S12B FLX Fan

Noctua also included their latest high performance fan for us to evaluate during this review. It has been getting some great reviews all over the world and although it is intended to be used as a case fan, we will see how it performs on the NH-C12P CPU cooler.

Packaging:

The package for the Noctua NF-S12B FLX Fan details some of the key features in the upper right hand corner, and it has a small clear plastic window to see a partial view of the fan. On the back of the package they go into some more detail about the key features listed on the front.

The bottom corner of the back of the package shows the specifications with the two power adapters along with the electrical specifications of the fan. In the below right image, I removed the outer packaging sleeve and you can see the fan and accessories organized like a TV dinner tray.

In the below left image you can see the sticker on the back of the fan. You can see the model number along withsome electrical date; 12VDC, 1.20W, 0.10A.

The above right image shows the fan accessories. There is an Ultra-Low-Noise Adaptor (U.L.N.A.) and a Low-Noise Adaptor (L.N.A.), which are essentially a cable with a resistor to lower the voltage to provide quieter operation and lower speeds, a 3 to 4 pin power connector, four rubber spacers (to be used instead of screws for helping with vibration noise), and four fan screws.
