At a recent press event I was introduced to BlackVue, and I have to admit that previously they were not on my radar. After speaking with them about their product it was obvious they are very passionate about their products... dashcams. BlackVue is made by Pittasoft, a Korean company, which started making dashcams back in 2007. They have since been on the forefront of technology with full HD cams, 2 channel cams, IR cams, and cloud services. While checking out their product I thought of the many times I could have used something like this so when the opportunity came up to review a BlackVue DR650S-2CH with Power Magic Pro I jumped on it.



First and foremost the BlackVue DR650S-2CH is a dashcam. The forward looking camera is capable of recording video at 1920x1080 30fps, while recording the stream from the rearward facing cam at 1280x720 30fps. The system also includes built-in GPS, G-sensor, and Wi-Fi. All data is recorded to a microSD card and it can handle up to a 128GB card. There are apps for your mobile devices and software for your Windows or Mac machines. The other notable feature is the Over the Cloud feature which allows you to view your vehicles footage real-time from anywhere. The Power Magic Pro is a device that ensures you are never too low on battery power to get your vehicle started and works with 12V and 24V systems.
