SiSoft Sandra 2007 Lite XI SP1 (v11.22):
The next benchmark used to verify system performance was the SiSoft Sandra 2007 memory test. The test results here are even more visually impressive. There is no denying the Crucial memory outperforms the Super Talent kit. Once again the Crucial exhibits roughly a 40% improvement in floating point and integer calculations.
3DMark 2006:
Next, 3DMark 2006 was used to verify if overall system performance was impacted with the system memory running at different speeds and timings. Once again the trend of Crucial beating Super Talent with similar clock speeds continues. Stock-for-stock the Crucial Ballistix kit achieves 102 additional "marks." Considering 3DMark is intended to stress the system graphics card, a ~5% improvement due to a memory swap alone is quite impressive.
PC Wizard 2007:
The final benchmark used to test the Crucial memory was PC Wizard 2007. Once again a +40% increase in performance was realized when both kits are overclocked to their maximum potential. Even at stock speeds the Crucial memory outperforms the Super Talent kit by 40%.
