Antec Fusion Media Center Case
July 05, 2007

Antec is a well known name in the computer component industry that has been putting out quality components since "Starbucks had only a few stores. Don Johnson was actually cool. The average PC had less memory than today’s cellphones." For those who don't remember when that was, their website goes on to clarify that quote as describing the year 1986.

An Antec mid tower was actually the first case I used for a system build, and it was one of the ugly beige boxes that was the standard in the days before manufacturers offered cases with any personality at all. That old beige case wound up being the only one I have used from Antec until the subject of this review showed up on my door step. The Antec Fusion Media Center Case is definitely nothing like the early cases from Antec, and is quite different from many cases on the market today. This HTPC case has a refined style and high end features that have me anxious to dive into this review.
