Using Windows XP Home ATM.

For driver versions, should I just download Vista ones?

Expect it to be awesome! For drivers, some manufacturers have already released 7 drivers like nvidia and ATI...

7even is much better than Vista. 7 is what vista should have been from the start.Drivers for vista should do just fine.

Ive used either vista or in a couple of cases xp drivers on the laptop ive got 7 on and it works fine, just have to faff around looking for the right one lol.

I tried Windows 7 on my secondary (much slower HDD) and it feels really smooth and everything works fine.

Every fresh OS installation usually is like this. But my Win7 Beta is still smooth after four months of use Smile

For the next best thing to fresh install is to uninstall all programs, do a complete registry clean-up (CCleaner, Glary's Utilities, etc.), virus and malware scan and reinstall all updated programs)...
