Sweet, I've got an OLD murray. Probably similar to yours. It used to run OK, but the starter fried on it.
I got mine for free because my parents neighbors couldn't get it running and bought a new one. I took it home and drained the diesel out of the gas tank, flushed it several times, cleaned the carburator, changed the spark plug and she fired right up. I got 2 summers of work out of it until the starter fried last Sept. I will fix it eventually, but it's not really high on my list since I have a 13yr old automatic lawnmower (My son and a regular push mower). _________________

I traveled with my father in 97 and at that time diesel was at 97 cents a gallon man how times have changed.... _________________
