DOH!!!

Maybe it's time to do an OS repair. Also, what AV are you using?

What a major piece of s#!7 this is!

I downloaded Internet Explorer 7 on a back up machine (luckily) and all went to hell. I did the reboot they required and the system would not restart. Crashed before entering Windows. I finally get it into Windows and it says Windows Firewall and my antivirus programs can not run... I reboot again and now the "recovered from a serious error" message keeps popping up... you click "don't send" and it comes right back up! On top of that, my network connection is now bad, as it says the cable is disconnected.

Good God why did I try this?!?! Bang Head

hilarious

btw, what OS did you try IE7 on? Up to date with hotfixes I assume...

I have to check if it is Home or Pro (probably Pro), but it is a 100% up to date XP, legit install.

I left for work with the system running again, but with AVG Free unable to run. I had to uninstall Ultra VNC, as well as two other things Microsoft installed with IE7 that I didn't notice being prompted for (some Domain API thing was one).

well to one up IE7...I've been using Firefox 2.0 RC3 for almost a week without any problems. As expected all addons/extensions aren't updated yet. That's the only issue I've seen so far.

Apparently Firefox 3.0 is already in the works for a May release...and will include corp deployment!

Looks like the days of MS monopoly on the web browsing is coming to and end...and FAST.

Adios IE Wave

I have been using IE7 for a while now, no issues. I can't wait to get rid of the RC though.

it is an html page but forums don't allow that type of file...so it's zipped.
