It's always better to use two matched(Same model) sticks, and never one alone. Putting generic RAM doesn't help either.

Depends, the 4400's price is not too far from the 4800. |

Well the Geil's used to be in a system that you helped me build a long time again I just thought it migt be good to use them again. To be honest memory is cheap so what I really should ask you smart types is what would the best memory be for me in this mother board? I plan to wait a little and get the uber AMD chip that was posted on this thread earlier if that helps you with your choice. |
