I'm sure Spire knows how long it is "good." |
Actually gasoline does not go "bad" but if you let it sit for long enough the container its in will collect condensate which makes it seem bad. |
I don't think so Asylum....
I believe gas will eventually get gummy with age. Condensation can be a problem (example: cars stored for the winter w/o a full tank). Spire!??!

BTW I work at the same refinery as Spire.
If gasoline is stored in a completely sealed container, it will not go bad. however i was not completely clear earlier, evaporation is the other factor that can ruin gasoline. the lighter molecules blended in gasoline will evaporate faster than the heavier molecules leaving a "gummy" residue. |

Kwel... I didn't know there was that much of a difference. I thought the only difference was that they oxygenated it more in winter than summer.
Of course Ca has the most unique formula, so that's why Ca gets phucked the most. |

ITS THE SAME FWEAKIN WEATHER HERE ALL THE TIME!!!!....the only difference between witner and summer is it rains maby 3 times a month in winter with a few occasional light storms...and in summer it doesnt rain but the temp never goes above 100...i am sure they can use the same blends...our record cold was like 15 degrees...and that was at nighttime . _________________ Ignore this^^ |
