Dear Group, forgive my ignorance please but based on the excellent review of the above case i bought one to attempt to build my first ever computer! There are screws on the back to remove the side window panel. But i can't for the life of me see how the other side comes off.
Does it come off? And if it don't how on earth are you supposed to fix the drives in position?

I said i was new to this lol, but i'd appreciate any help you can give me.

Many Thanks

Hi dreamofgilgamesh, welcome!

Looking at the pictures, I think once you remove the two screws on the back that hold the side without the window, you should be able to slide it towards the back of the case just a little and then pull it away from the case.

Hopefully Hellfire (the reviewer) can confirm this, but that seems to be the method. Grin

Looks like I didn't get a good full view picture of the back plate so I can't say right now. When I get home this afternoon I'll check and let you know.

But there should be a couple of screws to remove on the back so you can remove that side panel.

Oh thank you so much, that was very quick of you, i do appreciate it very much. You're right, there are 2 thumb screws on each side, and the window panel slid off very easily but the other side didn't seem to move at all. And given that i've never built my own computer before, and i'm terminally clumsy, i didn't want to break anything.

Thanks once again for your help.

PS, i'm also assuming that when i fit a fan to the front it actually goes in the case itself and not behind the front panel.

Thank you

Looking at another review of this, I see that the two screws on that side come out, you slide the panel back about 1/4-1/2 inch, and then the side comes off... The process should be a mirror image of the windowed side removal.

Sometimes it's hard to get those panels off at first. It might take a bit of elbow grease to get them to move the first couple of times you remove them.

Becareful not to push down on it, as that could actually work against you.

I don't remember that panel being hard to remove though.

Hellfire's old buddy Ohl did a review and he shows the other side removed...

Two screws, a little sliding, and POP! It shoudl come off.

I hope this doesn't get Hellfire's on to the worst case reviews ever list... Laughing j/k!
