Oh thank you so much, that was very quick of you, i do appreciate it very much. You're right, there are 2 thumb screws on each side, and the window panel slid off very easily but the other side didn't seem to move at all. And given that i've never built my own computer before, and i'm terminally clumsy, i didn't want to break anything.
Thanks once again for your help.
PS, i'm also assuming that when i fit a fan to the front it actually goes in the case itself and not behind the front panel.
