I'm rebuilding this P(OS)4 Prescott sys on an MSI board.........I keep getting a keyboard error. Pluged in the USB/Diagnostics lights bracket and it indicates a keyboard error (I know all 3 keyboards I tried are good).
It sez.....Incorrect CMOS settings.
So I.......
Cleared CMOS.....still no go.
Cleared CMOS, removed battery.....still no go.
Cleared CMOS, removed battery, removed power cable, let sit for 20 minutes.....still no go.
WTF....... _________________ Two wrongs don't make a right!

That error MIGHT be looking for a PS/2 keyboard but the USB keyboard MIGHT still work even tho the system is stopping on the keyboard error. Not sure just thinking out loud. |
