It's the keyboard controller, used to be a seperate socketed chip ($5~5minute replacement) most are now integrated. so the big fromage has the right idea.
The only possible fixable thing has to do with the keyboard socket, sometimes the solder joints crack, but since the USB doesn't work thats unlikely the cause. |
