I've been nothing but happy with the ND-3500A's I bought recently. Newegg also has them pretty cheap.
Available in Beige, Black, and (thankfully) Silver.
If i remember where I read about them i'd dig up some review links, but as I remember the reviews were in approval of the drive especially at the price point its going at. Currently $68 on newegg's front page. _________________ Jinsei to uchuu to subete no koate wa.. yonjuuni
Another vote for NEC. I have the 2500a that I updated the firmware on to burn dual layer. Although I have yet to bite the bullet and lay out the $$$ for any dual layer media to know if it works or not. It does burn single layer like a champ though.
haha thanks guys.. I guess i know which dvd burner i should be lookin to buy now
Does seem very good for the price its only 82 bucks in canada. And i hear the rip locks can be taken off by using special patches..
Now just gotta convice my dad i'm not blowing money (he seems to think every bit of technology is a waste of money) _________________ I'm Back to Haunt BB >

Rip locks? Is that a Windows thing or something on the new (3500A) drive? I just plugged mine in and started ripping/burning... _________________ Due to a not-that-interesting turn of events, I am now known as Justin Danger.
