that just seems really cheap to me or is that what it should cost?? just seems like it should be more to me

That does seem like a good price...

It is indeed one of the 128 Mb 9800 Pro cards.

Boy I know some folks that will like to see that price. Might even make me upgrade one more time before PCIe.

turns out through work i have a holiday accomidations from ATI... the 9800 pro is only 150 hehehe!!!

also hint hint if you wanna wake up early i know a store where u can get it for 150 after rebates... two words and they both start w/ a C

I've been happy with my x800XT, though I was forced into that choice due to the size limitations of the Shuttle it went into.

Nvidia hasn't shown me any serious luvin since the Ti4600. When the Radeon 9700 hit its been ATI ever since.

I'd try a look at a X800 pro if your willing to buy a card right now, ATI is planning on paper-releasing a X850 right now so with any luck some shops might drop the price a little on the X800.

It sucks that you have to stick with AGP, but the truth is PCIe isn't really getting any big performance increases right now since the cards that are being made don't fully take advantage of the extra bandwith just yet.

Doom 3 is silky smooth on my card, i'm a happy camper, and I know I'll stay a happy camper for a little while.
