I am all for keeping drugs out of our schools but judging from what I saw on that video they were way over the line, and to top it off they did not even find ANY drugs at all

This isn't the first time something like that has happened. it's just to get people used to more and more control/police state.

Thats ridiculous... I'm not a big fan of lawsuits, but someone should sue... What percentage of students may have been involved with drugs? The balance of 'clean' kid's families should all go after them!!

I lived in Goose Creek for several years with my family. My sons went to the elementary school in that same district. EVERY school in that district for 4 years straight won the Presidents Excellence Award. To get that award the school has to be at least 90% A/B grades. I find it hard to believe that a school system that does that well has a drug problem worth calling in a raid on.

On the other hand politics can and has played a big part in that area. Could be a ploy to get more money pumped into the school system. BTW, Stratford High School sits in the middle of a very affluent area.

That's crossing the line, but that idea is justified. Surprise is the way to go, but not force.

If you ask me that was a little extreme!! YEs suprise raid is the way to go, but to go around with guns makeing all the kids get on the floor?? I would think removing the kids from teh school during the raid would have been more appropriate. Then search the lockers and belongings. They will knows who stuff is who's because I am sure there is something ID'ing their things.

That's quite overboard, almost nazi style. First of all they could of not have guns and just have the dogs sniff the lockers and pass by classes durring class hours. That's what they do at my school. Most people tend ot keep their drugs in their locker so they will get busted if the dog smells anything and that they open it. The way they did it is way overboard!

I'm not a big fan of lawsuits either, but I think it would not hurt in this case!

"We received reports from staff members and students that there was a lot of drug activity. Recently we busted a student for having over 300 plus prescription pills. The volume and the amount of marijuana coming into the school is unacceptable," said principal George McCrackin."

And then not to find any drugs worth mentioning shows they made up an excuse to do this raid as a scare tactic. It won't stop the drugs and lawsuits won't stop this kind of police tactic either. Welcome to the New World Order..... Censored

Looks like a bunch of Jack Booted nimrods harrassing people. Why couldn't they just "lock" all the students in their homerooms and bring in the dogs. If a locker was suspect they could grab the student and do a search. After lockers take the dogs from classroom to classrom. This was strictly for SHOCK effect. Me thinks the DumbA$$ that came up with this idea didn't get enough "Shock and Awe" during Desert Storm II. Common Sense seems to be disappearing faster than the Ozone layer! Help us all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Excuse me while I go raise the flag to my compound and stack all my guns in one place so They (meaning the MAN) can say I was stockpiling weapons. (more than 3 in one place). Wink
