Im not using smoothwall, but a derivative of it called IPCOP. Linux based distro installed on an old 350 Mhz machine. It is defiantly overkill for a home, but I have had no problems with it. Its a great use for old computers. After installed most things can be done through the web interface.

well i guess i am classified in jr. IT i walk around my school and fix pritner/networking/hardware/software problems...so basically i am cheap IT labor for my disctrict.

Laughing I'm lucky on that. My Father-in-law is an IT guy (Desktop guy) so he deals with all that. Grin

When I talk to him it's good becasue he is either just talking, or maybe asking how I might do something. But not saying "Hey my computer's broke can you fix it"
