yea my previous computer about year and a half 2 years ago i went AGP cause i for a x800 pro with xt speeds for 399.99. I got 100-150 bucks off so i figured it would pay for the mobo and lasted a while but yea. DDR2 would require different ram and more money i wouldn;t really liek going that way. I am the type to build a machine about every 2 years. Canabilze what parts i cn like psu and the like and then move on. build new machines out of the left overs to miix an dmatch and have some fun with. But yea.
I read up some the best article i could find was form may 23rd so i don;t know if any chhanges are due up. There isn;t much difference, but since the 939's are cheaper, while lack of upgrades, i figure in what a year i could upgrade to the top end 939 now for a decent price if i wanted to so i am not completly out of options.

From what i have read, with the current duel cores, and the power that everything is pushing it its got some powerfull stuff, and it would not make sense, economically, to make anythign to powerfull untill you the money off the duel cores now.

Oh well. I am leanign toward the 939. Sucks that everythign is gonna cost 956 with shipping included, thats a hell of a lot... All from new egg still looking for prices but yea.

alrighty. Also found a pretty good deal as well a 4600 939 X2 for only 342 with shipping. Since the 3800 is 175 and the 4800 is 280 i was suprised to find a 4600 so cheap, in comparison. have ytou heard anythign bad about them, or are they just trying to get rid of them off the market because new egg doesn;t have them?

For the extra $40 go with the 4800. Has 1mb cache on each core, so that should provide better performance than only 512k on each core (even if the clocks were the same).
