I'm looking to take advantage of the S-ATA RAID on my motherboard, and was looking at 60-80 GB drives at Newegg. At 80GB there are several drives around (or under) $80 and was wondering if something other than my usual two (Maxtor and Western Digital) were worth considering...
My choices are Maxtor, Western Digital, Hitachi, Samsung, and Seagate.
All have 8MB buffers, similar seek times, and are priced within a few bucks of each other.
Any experiences? Suggestions? Thanks... |
