I was going to ask the same thing! If so you either have a lot of "shoot outs" where you live or everyone is very nice all the time. Laughing

Ummm... yeah.. The police in my and surrounding towns dont even bat an eyelid. Pennsylvania isn't New Jersey or New York.. lol

I live what is called The Pennsylvania Wilds. Its pretty much all woods with a little bit of farm land from the bottom of Jefferson County on up to New York state. Small cities and boroughs are about 15 to 20 miles apart, with nothing but trees, a few farm fields, and an occasional village in between. PA has about 9% of the woodlands of the entire United States, but we only have 1.214% of the land area of the country. JeffCo has 45.5K residents, and there are 6-7K licenses issued for the county. About 1 in every 7 humans are carrying a gun, more if you count the unlicensed folks carrying openly. If you only count adults 21yo+, that ratio drops for licensed concealed carry. Those 18yo+ can carry openly.

The Second Amendment to the US Constitution was modeled after PA's reserved rights. We can walk around with an openly carried handgun without any sort of license(except Philly), only needing a license when concealing or in a vehicle. Long guns like rifles and shotguns can be carried openly and concealed(think under a trenchcoat) without a license, just cant have them loaded in a vehicle.

We've had about 10-20 murders in Jefferson, Clarion, Clearfield, Armstrong, Elk, and Forest Counties in the last 10 years - not all included a gun either..

So much for more guns equaling more murders/crime.

Knight does really love his revolvers. I dunno though, I just never got into them. I see the appeal, but I guess I really like to have more rounds and be able to carry with one in the camber.

Yep. Weapons or not, if someone is out to get you - they will. And you're right again, more people equal more problems, compounding more problems. Cities have more crime and violence than rural areas, not just in the number of events, but crimes per person. When you stack people upon people, you're bound to cause problems.
