I gave the wrong info, I think. The WD drive that's almost as fast as the Velociraptors are their new Enterprise series (RE4), not the consumer-level Green Drives.

i think some WD's HDs do have 5 year warranty while some of their HD actaully only 3 years. I think it depends on the models.
