Yesterday night I got my PC back and decided I'd try my first overclock ever on it. It's 2,2Ghz stock. Temperatures running 34 idle and 54 under load.
I could not get any more from this CPU. At a 11x multiplier I crashed with 250FSB every time. I bumped up voltage to 1.55, but wasn't too happy with the temperature (it was 44 idle) for the 250FSB and 10.5 multiplier. |

overclocking is exciting. i remember my first time OC'ing i was very glad I OC'ed my quad to 3ghz but as they say once u start it, u cannot stop it. this is why my quad is now at 3.6GHZ
just an advice, read, read and read , watch your voltages and temps.
Good luck and happy OC'ing. _________________ HARDCORE GAMER!

What RAM are you using? |
Don't know the brand, but it's DDR400. |

Usually, when you click on the SPD tab of CPU-Z, it will show the RAM info |
