i am thinking of upgrading/building a new system, and i want to have a Quad core processor in it...
i was wondering what the best one is
i have heard that the Q6600 is good, but i want to know the best _________________ I <3 ASUS

I'd get a Phenom II 940 BE or a 920. The difference between them is that the 920 is 2,8Ghz while the 940 is 3,0Ghz and the 940 is Black Edition, which means it has an unlocked multiplier, which allows for more overclocking.

if thats 500 just for the processor, then go core i7 920 its highly overclockable to even 4.0ghz
and if its a 500 budget for all then go YorkField 2.83 Quad Core. Best for Gaming. |
