Looks like we've got ourselves a pretty good cold snap (note the little - in front of the 20.2 Wink ). Time to put the computers outside and see how far I can push the MHz. Grin

We use natural gas, but I've also got a rather nice wood stove insert for my fireplace and it's been running non-stop for about a month now. It really helps take some of the load off the boiler when the temps drop below zero.

It's actually gotten slightly colder over the last hour, it's -21.1 outside now.

Here's a crappy cellphone picture of it this morning. I love my Nokia e71, but for a 3Mega Pixel camera it takes sh!tty low light pictures.

I've often thought about insulating my downstairs closet and adding an intake and exhaust fan to cool it to outside temps, then putting all my computer equipment in there. It would probably work quite well, but sadly my boss vetoed the idea. Sad She always vetoes the good ones, kind of takes the fun out of things sometimes.

Woke up to -33 this morning, it warmed to a balmy -8 this afternoon.

We have 3 floors of water circulated in floor tubes fired off a nat gas boiler, toasty 70 degrees inside.

Heard it was -78 degrees in Tok Alaska yesterday. Now that can make your yam bag shrivel and fall clean off.

I was going to ask you what the temp was down there spire, it can get pretty brutal on the peninsula.

YEA!!! It's been colder in Alaska than it was here in Colorado! Because earlier in December, that wasn't true.

Glad you guys are enjoying your snow and cold. I'll have to come for a visit... in Spring.
