The light weight and compact size when the plastic tray is retracted may appealing for use on the go, while the integrated USB hub could be of interest to mobile or stationary users. But while it may operate in near silence regardless of fan speed, you might as well just leave it turned off since it isn't really cooling anything. - The Review

This thing has a thumbs up from me. I'm able to play WoW without roasting the family jewels with my laptop now.

Good! I guess it all depends on the laptop used with these things. I knew mine may be a bit too big for it... What size is yours? (umm, laptop, that is!)

I have a 15.4" widescreen HP.

Its bigger than the cooler width-wise, but just about right depth once you extend the thingamajigger.

The lappy seems to run better. Before during gameplay it'd start lagging and stuff when it got hot, the CPU fan would run all the time. Now the CPU fan kicks on/off and game play is a little bit smoother. ...goes to show how cooling can help out on things.
