Anyone ever had any?

One of my drivers from West Virginia brought me a mason jar full.

I was just hearing a story on the news this morning about how Moonshine is the new big thing... People go to Appalachia looking for it... and get ripped off buying it!! Paying like $20/quart!!

Yikes

No thanks for me!!

I am with BC on that one. Drank it once and never again. Was with my ex brother in law. I thought I had it bad it made me feel terrible. He went home got in bed with his wife and lost control of his bowels and crapped the bed, not once but twice during the night.

I have half a mason jar full from a trip to Kentucky. It is actually a fully pre 9-11 story. I worked for this company in the middle of nowhere, got friendly with the guy and when I left he offered me a jar to take home. Not being one to say no to alcohol I took it. Problem is I was on a little a$$ plane and all luggage was carry on. So I got to Tri-Cities Airport and start sweating in line, bag goes through and I hear the dreaded words, "we have a jar, can we check your bag?" Well I nearly s#!7 myself, the woman opened, took a wiff and her eyes rolled back in her head, she passed it to the other guy and he did the same thing. Now I am starting to wonder who I can call to bail me out of jail, when the women says "this is homemade apple cider right?" Dumb founded I just nod my head, grab my stuff and go. Well about an hour later tehy tell me my flight is cancelled. I had to go back out to ticketing to get on the next flight. So I go back through security and hear the same thing, as the woman starts to pull me to the side I remind her I am the one with the apple cider. She laughed and told me not to come through again. Luckily that flight went otherwise I wouldn'yt have been able to enjoy it.

I used to make my own as a kid but this stuff is much smoother and less likely to make you blind.
