While I put AVG on all the systems I build for other people, I have never put an AV software on either of my two main systems, where I'm the only one that uses it.
Occassionally I'll do a check with a web virus checker and load one up just to check out potentials and never gotten a virus or spyware. Then again, I know the sites I go to on a regular basis, and don't do random surfing, YouTube, MySpace, etc.
But for those that do random surfing, or visit unknown/warez/pron sites, it goes on there. Not everybody is diligent enough to know what they are doing and where they are surfing to. |
