But what the hell kind of celebration is that anyway? Celebrating that it took over 2 years for your town to find out about something... and not the date of the actual event. Sure, they didn't have the Internet, but the telegraph existed then... Horse? Train?

I have lived in 14 states, Texas is the only one I would not move back to, that story is a perfect example of why. The last year I spent in Houston was so bad when the opportunity to move back to the LA area came up I jumped at it.

Unfortunately in order to acheive it, the front runners had to slowwwwwwwww down a bit to let the laggers catch up.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The result, a happy go lucky world where everyone is equally daft. (at least the ones in public school)

I'm sure BB knew this and had a typing error, but for those that grew up in the "no child left behind era", it's Austin, TX

You made a common typing error (I and O are next to each other on the keyboard). I'm positive you know how to spell Austin, not so sure about the current generation though. Smile
