black vs beige isn't an issue...design area is dark anyways, nobody is going to see it.

SLI in the future? I think I can find one on ebay after they stop making the card. If not, then we can get two of another model. Still better than buying one of those expensive quadros.

The card you picked isn't SLI capable, so it isn't just a matter of finding a twin somewhere in the future... A picture for you (see the sticker).

Quote:
What NVIDIA Quadro graphics cards can work together in an SLI configuration?

CAD? to test a pc? try Maya , 3DS MAX, Softimage XSi, with a preaty heavy polimesh and some displacement maps, skin maps , bump maps , weight maps , and make an animation out of it , normals maps and heavy weight shaders. Thats more likelly to test a pc. no?

DKZS, I agree those programs would be a better test. But we don't use those at work, we are a manufacturing company.

Changed the motherboard and power supply in first post. Better Dr.?

well I got her all together and running. started a little stability testing...

dual prime95 running, both cores 100% usage...cpu temp is 58-60!! although it will not be running for hrs at full load, that still concerns me. Maybe I should swap the stock cooler. But no bling LEDS.

idk, hopefully it will pass through the night of prime95.
