The title is the only way to describe how I feel... minus extremely profanity!! I had meetings at work the last two days, and the length and dullness were beyond belief!!

Yesterday went from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm followed by dinner from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm (one long a$$ dinner)... They decided to start today's earler, so we went from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm with just one mid-morning break and a half hour for lunch...

GGGAAAAHHH... I wanted someone to shoot me!! Bang Head

Not sure how you stayed awake. I would have been yawning after the 2nd hour. Hope it's over for you Smile

They announced another meeting for tomorrow morning with some marketing guru they're bringing aboard... Yikes - luckily I have an 'emergency' doctor's visit and won't make it... Grin

The first day I did start dozing and the COO and CEO saw me, I think... Laughing

Who are you guys working with? Is it just your internal firm or would it be by chance a meeting with a group from outside of the country? I'm only asking because in France they love to have lengthy meetings (and sadly not much is accomplished, nor is there an agenda). Also, the French LOVE to have long lunches (ohhh ya... they like to work late too) Razz

We're trying to get it all in quickly because we did fly our former consultants / new hired direct employees in from California, as well as 4 people from our office in Holland... But it isn't the Dutch that are making it slow and painful... Its the upper management and the consultant types... basically trying to engineer a new product when none of them are engineers... But, 4 out of 5 are PHDs and the 5th is a lawyer... Yikes

I didn't say shot dead... just wounded so I can say "Oh, look at this, I better go clean up... excuse me everyone..." Laughing

There is a Dilbert somewhere that he treis to pretend he's dead so his co-workers will drag him out of a meeting and then he can escape from work... Instead they pose his body in a ridiculous position so that when rigamortis sets in its permanent... And he winds up laying on the floor like that continuing to fake death... Laughing Laughing
