i have a bit of an older system i wanna get running the issue is that within 5 minutes of turning it on the cpu temp is at 200 degrees F ....not kidding lol.... thats not running anything either just sitting in bios... im thinking its either the cpu or the heatsync... its a tiny one thats on there like a 60mm or something like that... i changed the fan on it but it didnt matter... its an xp2000+ cpu on a gigabyte board...
the cpu fan is obviously the cheap thing to replace... any suggestions? _________________

or you finger? if the cpu is 200F then the heatsink should be pretty hot to touch. |
