Never a problem here, and I have several... One is on a well overclocked rig that runs F@H 24/7... Others are a few years old and banging away all the time...
Could be user error...
They do have a lifetime warranty... take advantage of it! |

I have two ultra's in use that have been going for about 2 or 3 years now, a 400w in my home theater that's run 24/7 and my sons computer a 500w. Also a friend of mine has two in each of his for several years as well. Never any issues with them here.
Like with anything, you can have bad ones As BB said, take advantage of the lifetime warranty |

I do. But of the two bad ones, one was on a tripp lite and the other just hooked up to the power strip. The one with the tripp lite was the cracked fan. |

I have an Ultra XConnect 500 and an X-Finity 600w. Both of them run like champs, except for the dust. Too bad there's not a trade-up program; I'd love to get my X-Finity in for one of the modular units that was reviewed recently here. My only issue with the XVS may be the lack of bling. |
