Just got the cooler today. BB you were not exaggerating. It does have a rather interesting arouma to it. Not sure if it's the fan or the heatsink, I seperated the two. Gonna check back later. But yeah... it's odd Crazy

Good luck! I think the scent is just now faded to the point where I can't smell it when I walk into my office.

I think it is the metal part... the fan didn't smell to me. And, My CPU smelled later, making me think there was a direct metal-to-metal stink transfer! Laughing

Maybe test outside first! Laughing
