I'm not there long enough for good beer... Only one night, and I'll probably be beat.

Just go to http://www.theregister.co.uk/odds/bofh/ and you can read up on how to handle these customers properly. If you're well practiced, they'll either fear your arrival or worship the ground you walk on. Laughing

Personally, I have a mixture of both in my office. Grin When I mention "policy" people tend to backpedal and wish they had never submitted a ticket.

Just got back from Germany and something odd has happened.

Damn I'm gassy!! Could it be the sausages? The beers? Hmmm....

More thank likely, it's the amount of time that you spent on the plane at altitude. You get aclimated to that pressure and when you come down, it's different. (This may not be a good answer, but it works for me...it's along the same principal as you shouldn't fly after you go diving because you'll get the bends)

Glad you made it back in one piece!

I would think the effect would happen during the flight (while under lower external pressure) Bad Air luckly most people manage to hold it in until after the land.

Knowing some of the smells I've experienced on a plane...not everyone can (or does) hold it! doh!!! And yes, it makes more sense for it to be at higher altitudes
